MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This morning I woke up remembering that I have something more than presents, delicious food, & amazing fellowship with my family & friends to look forward to today… but Eternity.

I have an eternity in Heaven ahead of me. This is the greatest gift I have ever received. The gift of salvation. It was all made possible by God’s divine plan of redemption manifested here on earth in the tiny Christ child (John 3:16). Jesus Christ, who would live a sinless life of humility & servanthood would later give His life on the cross to become the propitiation for our sins (Romans 3:23)(Romans 6:23). When Jesus Christ was nailed to the cross, death was defeated and He prevailed in His mission to redeem us into fellowship with God, our Heavenly Father.

So today, on a day which is centered on the giving & receiving of gifts, I humbly cast everything down that I am & have ever received in gratitude & worship at the throne of God. Today my heart cries out ..”“Worthy are You, our Lord & God, to receive glory & honor & power, for You created all things & by Your will they existed & were created.”

Wishing you all a blessed Christmas day =)

lately i’ve been feeling a little off center. c’est la vie. embrace it and keep moving forward.

A divine night it was, can’t you just picture the scene with millions of angels filling the sky over Bethlehem. Jesus Christ, our savior King, came down to this earth manifested in human flesh to become the propitiation for our sins and to redeem us into fellowship and eternal salvation with our heavenly Father. Jesus is the reason for the season. It is my sincerest prayer that we NEVER forget that.  God bless you fam =)

chills. bye. @lukeedgemon

About 8 months ago, after praying for a new song, God gave me a cool melody.  I had no idea what I was going to do with until one day I asked a good friend of mine (who was getting ready to leave for a missions) what one of her favorite passages of bible scripture was.  I wanted to send her off with a little gift.  This is the final product.

This was filmed at the 2012 Calvary Chapel Worship Leaders Conference during some of the down time we had.  I had the amazing privilege to sit down and jam with my good friend Emmett Franz who is playing the “dobro” in the video.  I truly hope this ministers to your soul as much as it has for me these past couple of months.

This was totally impromptu.

Lamentations 3:22-24

English Standard Version (ESV)

22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;

    his mercies never come to an end;

23 they are new every morning;

    great is your faithfulness.

24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,

    “therefore I will hope in Him.”

sometimes

it’s hard to trust and believe. However, I will stand firm on God’s living word even when my faith is being tested beyond my limited perception of what I think is going on. HE sees the future, i just see the picture.  Keep pressing on and waiting on the Lord, b.

How Deep The Fathers Love For Us

Be Still

Completely trusting God may sometimes mean doing absolutely nothing but being steadfast & patient.

I think there are two types of trust. The first is the trust we have that we are saved and nothing can break that. The second is the one we tend to struggle with most, and is the day-to-day trust of the things that happen. This type of trust can only come from communicating with God. Keep the line open!

if you don’t know.. now you know.
